    Talking Keystone Downhill

Crinkle took Z and I out to Keystone to show us around. They really have a great set up. Lots of bridges built into different trails.

It was new stuff to Z, but he loved it. Crinkle is the MAN. He would hit any drop or rock garden with very little or no concern. If he was on a DH bike, he would be deadly for sure.

Here are some pics showing some of the features. Z's in the white shirt, Crinkle is the other guy.

just a common berm, but fun for this newby.

    a berm with a twist

    Z on a titer

Z on the wood drop, you'd come out of it very fast.

    checking out a skinny

    Z on a dragon

A tall berm with a twist and a drop.

I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

    Crinkle

    Crinkle cleaned several skinnies.

    a 1/4 pipe titer totter.

he'd have to stall high on the wall to try to get the thing to rotate.

    The drop

There are bridges everywhere. Just up the hill are several more

    last pic

A very fun day. My right hand is still swollen from an endo I took on to some rocks. But I look forward to hitting it again next year.

all over the place. the stunt park is at the bottom by the gondy. the skinny bridge was on "paid in full" a new trail, the others were on parts of the "expert" trails.

GT thanks for taking and posting the pics. Heal up soon.

Big props to Z for being a new rider and trying just about everything he came across. I do wish that vid came out of you doing that endo into the tree.

Funny, I though ditching everyone and skiing down to the bottom of the hill we'd never been on before, leaving everyone else standing on the hill, shouting and thinking you were lost or stuck in a tree somewhere in the fog was your specialty

Nice pics GT. Looks like some fun riding. Jealous that we have nothing remotely close to it around here.

Crinkle, get a big bike. Buy first, answer to your wife later.

It'll be tough to answer to her, when sleeping in the garage. Ski season is here, she knows BC gear is on the agenda, if for some reason that slips her mind by spring, maybe I'll try and pinch a bigger bike by her.......who am I kidding?

    Fall Gear Swap
This will be the biggest one yet. We will have free food and beer from Tommy Knocker. There will be two DJ spinning in the parking lot all day for your listening pleasure, hundreds of people haucking gear to each other, tons of deals to be had, vendors showing off all the new gear, giveaways all day including free skis and bindings, lots of shwag, and more. This is not to be missed. If you are interested in selling gear, it is free but we ask that you sign up ahead of time so we know how many tables to get. Click the link above to sign up or get more info.
