    Thanks Tyrone…cool interview!

She has been and always will be dreamy in my book. Her attitude and ability is second to none.

Ps. Slim, dreamy is the word that came to my mind too!

If I were 10 or 15 years younger, and much hotter, and not married, and an extremo mountain dude... she'd be mine.

VJ: There are a lot of people doing both and maybe there should be a magazine that mixes it up. I don't know if there's a big need for that, but a lot of people do both now—ski when the conditions are a certain way, and snowboard when there's more powder. The cool thing for me is when people see that snowboards and skis are tools. They are different shaped tools that you ride down the mountain with.

TGR did a TV series last winter, and VJ was one of the athletes for...I think it was a Russia seg.

Anyways there is a segment where she ends up with this nasty flu bug and has a temp and is hacking and all that. The next scene cuts to her hiking this gnarly ridge, trying to beat a cloud moving in that will ruin the shot. She is hauling up this thing, drops her board at a run that would give anyone pause, throws it on and doesn't even scope the line, just drops in.

The cool thing is she does not have to work that hard, she is rippin and can probably film with whoever she wants whenever she wants.

    Very, Very profesional.

I have been lucky enough to work with Victoria over the past few years. All round rad chick, will never be "shown up" by the guys, and puts a lot of them to shame on burly lines.
This is from a couple of years ago.....

God - I couldn't agree more!!! It's so true, and that's why I always find it so funny that skiiers and snowboarders give each other a hard time. I think the most proficient and efficient mountain addicts are the ones who can pull different tools from their toolboxes - skis on days where there's more ice, board on a sierra cement day, board on a powder day , teles when it's just groomers and you're board (for someone like me, who's still learning).

On a heli trip in Whistler, our guide kept switching back and forth between a board and skis. She finally looked at all the skiiers (there were only two of us on boards) and said "you all need to get boards for days like this." The snow was heavy and you needed to punch through it with skis, but you could ride on top of it with a board and have a great time.

I heart Victoria (not in that way, guys. though she is super sassy.).

Well, you'll never learn to tele by riding a snowboard.

Back to VJ, if any of you are ever in my bathroom you can read the multi page interview with her in Frequency... pretty cool and you get shots of her ripping on DH boards.

damn - what a freudian slip I made. I meant BORED for goddsakes!

anyway, I do think being tri-lingual or whatever one might call it (being able to board, ski, and tele) is the way to go.

HAHA!! Im picking up skis this year, in fact they are heading my way soon.

Still boarding those huge pow days till I get efficient enough on 2 planks in pow. That may be a while, I have a feeling.

I had to interview her when she came for the Burton tour in Toulouse. I was here, shaking like it was my first date. I started to ask Keir a few questions to calm my nerves. When I recovered and was able to do the job (the interview I mean) she had vanished.

Her smile can break a snowboarder's heart in two like a matchstick.

For some reason I find this picture extremely sexy. Maybe even more than a bikini shot in some magazines. I think my ski fantasies are begining to take over.

I love that pic too. For some reason she reminds me of Penelope Cruz there (except Penelope can't rip 5000 foot AK lines!).
