Yes. Brandy around here is mostly used for mixers with old fashioned being the primary drink of choice for many. Of the many brands of brandy available there are not a lot of choices beyond VSOP and the XO are basically the well know brands, which I've already tried.

Yowch. You poor guy. So the stereotype that it's pretty much nothing but beer and Old Fashioneds is true, huh?

I just picked up a bottle of Bas-Armagnac Delord 25 Ans d'Age. I've tried it before and liked it so hopefully this bottle is what I remembered. I hope to find out this weekend.
