    coreUPT UFO 207cm

I just found these on the coreUPT blog. Looks like Dynastar is not making their skis next year.

    207cm
    127mm waist
    47m turn radius
    double rockered

tips or not, 207, rocker and some ridiculous riders testing the product might lead to something pretty sweet.

Best thing is that they might be uber cheap at the end of next year. The Coreupt version of the Huge Trouble and XXX Ray (08-09 Legend Pro 100 underfoot) was/is $300 on their US site last time I checked.

Know if the XXX ray is the same in all other respects as the 100mm LP? If so, the topsheet on the XXX is marginally prettier than the LP, while still pretty fugly, and a lot cheaper.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure if it is the same lay-up/materials/flex, I know with the other skis it is supposedly identical. There is a thread over at Newschoolers in gear talk where someone connected with Coreupt is answering questions, they might be able to help.

This comic sums it up pretty well...

    Bottom right obviously....

CoreUPT was trying to say they were changing flex and layup, but by all other accounts skis are identical.
Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....

I got to fondle a pair in Chamrousse yesterday. They flexed somewhere between an ep pro and a hellbent. Pretty abrupt rocker, and flat underfoot. It seemed way too soft to charge in anything but untouched pow. Granted it was only a prototype.
