    STOWE GAPER DAY SUNDAY (4/5)

The last thread was a little confusing as to the day but it has been decided that Sunday would be a great day to hold gaper day. The weather in the whites looks bad but the weather on mansfield looks alright. Warm at least. I just don't want to miss good skiing in the whites to hold this priceless event.

    Who is in?

Sorry for the short notice but after weighing all of the possibilities samthaman and I decided this was the best option.

We will congregate in the middle gondi lot. Grilling during the afternoon. Lets all meet in the P-lot at 1pm so we can get a huge group together to take over the mountain!

    NWS forecast:
Sunday: A chance of snow showers before 11am, then a chance of rain showers. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Northwest wind between 9 and 11 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. (even the NWS guys are sugguesting we should sleep in to get the best conditions)

Might be calling an audible on hunter and we may be up on mansfield that day instead, so maybe we can ski down and take a run with you guys. But I cannot pay $85 for late season conditions.

I might hike over from Smuggs tomorrow and use a voucher. Is spruce still open?
