    Music to chill to?

I'm in need of a new discovery. Looking for some music I can chill-out to. You know that music that you can have on in the car, listen to on a plane, or have on while you're having dinner? Right now my go-to is St. Germain, but I need something new.

    Any ideas?

agree with thievery corp. old school jazz always good for dinners (coltrane, miles davis, monk, etc). nothing wrong with Slayer either.

I regularly "chill" to Lustmord. Don't know if that qualifies as music though.

The more instrumental RJD2 pieces are good too.

Kruder and Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions.
Timeless remixes. 4-LP set fetches around $100-150 in near-mint condition.

    LTJ Bukem - Progression Sessions.
Instrumental drum and bass at its finest. Often comes in 2-CD ... ignore the one with MCing on it.

    Groove Armada - Northern Star.
GA's first release and their best showing in my opinion. Blurb about the album here.

Groove Armada - Back to Mine.
Phenomenal compilation where each track was recorded in its original tempo. Check the tracklisting and see for yourself.

    Swayzak - Himawari.
Slightly darker and more beat-driven than the other recommendations.

    Rinôçérôse - Installation Sonore.
Excellent album from a French group that I consider one of the finer house albums put together.

    Air - Moon Safari.
Another great album from another French Group. Listen to the first track, "La Femme D'Argent", and you'll be hooked.
