Line Prophet 130 vs Karhu Team 130

    These skis are the same.

Has anyone compared the recommended alpine/AT midsole line between the two? Odin has Prophet 130's and he's telling me his midsole line is 39.25" from the tip. On my Team 130's it's 41"

What gives? Can anyone confirm this? Greydon Clark was going to measure his Prophets for me tonight, but perhaps one of you know the deal on the difference.

I've read a ton of recommendations saying to just mount on the line...but what if the line on the Team 130's is rearward of the Prophets by nearly 2" ?

    I must know.

    Thanks.

Oh thank god. I don't know the answer to the question, but based on the thread title I was walking in here with a Molotov cocktail ready to release.

Is the team 130 a "tele" ski? Is there some difference between tele mounting and alpine mounting?
that's all i can think of, but i'm sure there's something else...

In addition to pinline marks for tele reference, it has an Alpine Touring mark, which corresponds to the boot midsole. On the Team, it's further back apparently than the Prophet. I'm just trying to confirm this so I can safely mount forward of the Team's AT line without experiencing tip dive.

I know the original Prophet 130 had 2 positions for the inserts. Perhaps the forward position was used for a midsole reference on newer Prophet models (post insert) and the rearward position on the Teams.

Confirmed: Karhu Team 130 AT line is 3.5cm rear of the Line Prophet line midsole recommended line.

I mounted somewhere in between (but closer to the Prophet line) for BD02's.

I had some Prophet 100s which felt like they had an awful lot of tail. Maybe the Prophets' mount is just more "freeridey".

I had a pair of prophet 130's mounted on the line and felt like I could have been a bit farther forward. That said, I like to a be a little farther forward on my skis than some.
