Personaly I would not try to take up space with an intuition liner and yes the thickness of a sharpie is the 15mm I would go with on shell fit

one used to be able to call the Intuition factory outlet in Vangroovy but i havent been there in years becuz the 13 yr old liners are still good in my touring boots

in fact I had to do a quick visit on the way home from Hokkaido becuz the shell of a Vulcan was just a C hair smaller than the mercury it was originaly molded for to the point it was uncomfortable so i stopped at Intuition and paid the 50$ becuz the Intuition folks are that good IME

Intuition repair question. The seam on the inside flap of my ProWrap came undone. Any tips on the best way and materials to fix this with for someone who failed Home Ec and has no idea how to really sew ?it looks like the original thread went through both sides of the fabric and the edge of the foam

Smear it with 3M 5200 and let cure.

Hmm, interesting idea since I cant sew. Always worried about solvents in adhesives eating the foam though. Any experience here ?

I’m looking for some new liners for my Dynafit Tigard (original is worse I ever seen). I have very good experience from Scarpa Intuition liners, have home cooked at least 6 pairs. Usually I use a nylon stocking, some padding around the toes and a really thin insole to get tightest possible fit.

Browsing forums it seems like many chose to buy a larger liner to get a tighter fit. Seems reasonable, i never got a fit that was too tight, the liner will compress down to almost nothing. The best fit I ever made was molding the liner in a slightly bigger shell, molding in Scarpa TX Pro, skiing in Scarpa Maestrale RX, that heel hold is super. But it won’t work on the Tigards, I do not have a shell that’s almost the same but bigger.

Is it a bad idea to also go for a HV liner? If I fill in the forms, Inundation says I should buy a Dual Density Tour Tounge MV 12 mm. In my size 28.5.
