    Salomon binding concern

I just got a new pair of skis mounted over the weekend with th14 bindings. I noticed that one heel piece has a V-shaped gap between the two plastic pieces where the brake is. The other one doesn't have a gap. You can see the difference in the two attached photos. Should I be concerned about this? I haven't skied on these yet, so now would be the time to bring them back to the shop if necessary.

The brake is seated correctly. Pull off the brake and re-install.

    Fixed it for you.

There are a couple little tabs at the front of that brake that need to be seated into their allotted slots.

The brake is not broken, it has just been put on incorrectly. On the first pictures, the brake has not been put on ok. That little metal tab that sticks out should go in first and fits into a little hole in the bindings bottom plate. You put the brakes on ok in the 2nd picture, you should be able to do the same with the other.
Just fucking point it and shut up

OK, I see it now. The little tabs are sitting on top of rather than in the slots. I take it I just need to unscrew the silver screw to remove the brake assy?

The shop mounted the skis, not me. I'm a binding JONG

Thanks for the quick help everyone. Just took it apart and put it back together correctly in a few minutes. Boot clicks in and out smoothly, so should be good to go.

Yeah sorry meant to say that it was not seated correct.

Remember to always give the beer to your tech after they complete the mount. Makes for less screw ups this way.
