I was asked if my images were a little bit hot or overexposed via a PM. I thought I would post my answer here

If you are looking at the web photos on a LCD you're probably seeing them another 1/4 to 1/2 a stop overexposed due to the brightness of the screen. I've found that pretty much ALL LCDs should be viewed with the brightness turned down to about 70-80% if you're looking for accuracy.

Check this screenshot. The bright red area is what is "clipping" IE: the only area of the image that is 100% white.

Sorry about that. I didn't optimize that screenshot very well There is a smaller one in there now. Funny - I can see an exposure difference between my screen capture and the exported file above it.
