Silvretta Pure from '06 - good binding?

I'm considering buying a used pair of Silvretta Pures from '06.

I've read a few reviews of the bindings which mention reliability issues.

Anyone have advice on whether the models from '06 are any good? They've got the carbon rails, but I'm not sure if they're solid or hollow.

    TIA

it is not a good binding.
It was all a whirlwind; freeze and flash.
Within a week we had grabbed our skis and hit the road.

(nothing... a little powder, a little blood.)

What is bad about it? Performance? Durability?

That's kind of what I was afraid of....

I'm on the lighter end of the weight spectrum, but plan on using them with alpine boots for this season and just doing lift sking. Plus I see from the articles that the guy was wrong and they are not '06 ones after all (as they are red, not grey).

Sounds like I might want to keep looking for Fritschis or Naxos.

    Thanks.

I tried using them with alpine boots for a year and the negative ramp angle really screwed with my skiing. They lasted me the year but I was always pretty worried about them breaking

Thanks for all the advice. I'm going to avoid this binding.
