Are we talking about Denver proper or the greater Denver region? 34 still seems relatively small for the city.

A friend of mine said that they have a Starbucks IN his office building. There's only 300 people that work in the office. I guess when you have a 400% profit margin you can do things like that.

BTW, anyone have a link to that Starbuck flash toon that was swirling around here 8 months ago?

I just went to Starbucks.com and did a store search and it had 34 with Denver addresses, so it is just Denver proper.

Talk about insane. I have three within a 4 block radius of my house in LA.

There's an office building in downtown Seattle that has THREE Starbucks!

The cartoon someone asked about is, I think, Foamy. It's a whole series of political and social comentary cartoons.

Edit: Here's a link to Foamy...the Starbucks rant ought to be in here somewhere...no time to look, I actually have to work right now...

I'm disappointed. There are only 13 stores within 2 miles of my house and 48 within 5 miles. That's just not enough.

This is a rad thread - as I sit here with the caffeine tingle in my arms and a slightly distracted nervousness from the cup I had been craving all morning.

For me, it's all about the Americano or an awesome french roast with soy milk . . . . mmmmm :-)

I would definitely consider coffee an integral part of my life - is that wrong? I blame it on staying true to the WA roots :-)

Taint no diet like da coffee diet... sing it with me Kel!

Guess I should have laid off that third cup.

Coffee is crazy. We get free Starbuck's at work each day and $1 triple shots if you need 'em. Although I'm more a fan of Seattle's Best when it comes to the chains, damn - by 9am I'm bouncing off walls. i am the great cornolio!

Girlfriend just got hired at a new Starbucks - benefits include a free pound of coffee a week and a 30% discount. WoooHooo - free beans and 30% off a new espresso machine. I may be posting a lot more (and typing a lot quicker)
