Name ONE good song... actually good song that Bon Jovi performed that wasn't some chick-rock piece of trash. If you say anything from Slippery when Wet I will find you and put you out of your misery, since life without balls is too horrific to contemplate.

Oh come on. All those hair/glam bands wrote simplistic, party rock songs. And Bon Jovi wasn't chick-rock, their were hair rock. You look at a crowd at an 80s Jovi concert and there were more guys than girls. Sure Jon was a pretty boy and the ladies loved him, but that doesn't mean they wrote chick-rock, it just means that he wasn't a fat ass like Vince Neil.

I never liked those hair bands, I was a GnR, Metallica, Zep guy growing up. But I can appreciate a catchy pop song just as much as the next guy. And Slippery When Wet had some pop classics on it, just as Pyromania and Hysteria did. Pure pop classics.

It's just wrong to say CCR sucks. You may not like them, you may not like Fogerty's vocals, but how can you say they suck? Listen to the songs and the way that band plays--they cook most of the time. Fogerty is a fucking talented guitar player. An egomaniacal twit, from what I can tell, but fucking talented.

Pretty screwy to say Credence sucks. And the Dude abides, and disagrees.

And to clear up some real musical unimportance, Pyromania is the only Def Leppard albums with anything remotely redemptive on it. Remotely.

CCR, meh, they were ok, that's about it, imo. I'll take Van Morrison or the Allman Brothers over CCR.

Actually I was going to mention the Rolling Stones, but I figured that would just point the guns at me. I think Dylan's singing is right there with the other two, but yet I like Tom Petty. Dylan and Petty sound alike, but Petty's songs are more rock-than-folk + Petty sings about cool stuff and does a good job at rockin.

Saw both both Poison and Bon Jovi no where even close to the 80's, but I would say that Poison blew Bon Jovi away! Nothing like CC all sorts of coked up rockin' out on guitar. Neither would ever qualify as my favorite bands, but Poison is always in my top three favorite shows I've ever seen. As for worst band I'm going with Creed. They just plain annoy me.

Are you kidding me? Ever heard anything off "High & Dry?" Only Def Lepard album worth a shit. Yeah, Pyromania was fully of catchy hits and far more popular, but it was not better.

As far as Creed goes, sure the lyrics were lame and the lead singer was an Eddie Vedder wannabe but those guys wrote some of the funnest, catchiest songs of the late 90s and early 2000s, period.

You did not actually just say that you like Dragonforce. Herman Li gets alot of help in the studio, they are amongst the worst live bands I've ever been forced to see. Oh, and their studio shit is just one long annoying fucking wank-fest.
