So who made it up the past couple days? Did a melt/freeze crust develop?

This storm looks like it could be a good one. I wouldn't mind a significant groupel (groupal, grouple??) event to smooth everything out.
Just ski down there and jump of a somethin' fer cryin' out loud!

Putting on a nice fire Sat, enjoy the bigscreen of snow coming down, have some warm drinks, enjoy the family, play with the pooch and anxiously await my Sunday of Solitude.

Doing the honey is always a plus.

Well, that was fucking awesome. I'm also officially in love with my Hellbents. I fucking nailed a rock, the last time I hit one that hard I was missing edge, and like no damage at all. Say what you want about China, but these things seem pretty durable.

    Who's up tomorrow?

There were a lot of new skis up there today, and a lot of people saying the same thing. It was definitely fucking awesome. Tram lines are starting to feel amusement park-ish, though.

    I'll be up tomorrow.

You really don't need to post as much as you think you do. You are starting to sound like an annoying 14 year old girl. I do believe you already stated you hit a bunch of rocks on your new ghey hellbents. You don't need to say it again. Not to mention in order to ski, we don't need to ski with you.

A couple pics from Fri. Local; headwall forest in the if you only knew area
    Photog; JVJ
    Skiers; Dibs & Toph

    Rock skier snow
    Skier shreds snow
    Snow lightly covers rock
    Rock ganks skiers ski

Nothing good ever happens after this point

dumbfuck helmetless skier cartwheels through snow hoping to avoid lightly covered rocks.
    Gotta love early season

Utards...I'm driving from Tahoe to SLC on the 17th. Hoping to get some skiing in on Thurs and maybe Fri morning. I've skied Alta/Bird/Soli...looking to maybe ski Brighton for the first time. Sick deal on lift tickets at Liftopia ($40), so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Anyone want to show me around or make some laps? If not, should I just pay the $40 and ski the Bird? How's Brighton looking these days?
