HA! Maybe you should change your policy on selling skis to hippies... Money first, THEN they get the skis!!!

Don't you remember why he needed new skis??? These were the ones he was borrowing and planning on buying.....

    Lost already commented on this, but I'll throw in my perspective;

Tuesday during the day into early evening was the best of the week. Good soft snow and lots of it and the crowds didn't set in till we were ready to leave around 5. Wednesday morning was good despite the snow-ice-snow layering of the storm. 2"/hour for 4-5 hours can really remedy some mid-storm ice...

Got there at open, and fresh tracks could be had especially to the right in the trees until early afternoon. Very light powder but as lost said, once it skied off it was crappy underneath.

Sunday am looked to be $$$, surprised to hear the crowds set in

This week looks to be decent again with lower temps...

Snow in the forecast for Tuesday here in Ft Wayne. We still have about 4" on the ground. Enough to slide around on the sledding hills.

11" @ Bohemia yesterday. I'd go, but all my shit is packed in luggage and I leave tomorrow (well, tonight actually). While I'm gone I predict massive apocalyptic snowfall @ Boho. Maybe the tippy-top of Horseshoe will finnaly fill in. You're welcome.

Schweet. Thanks for the reverse mojo -- I'll bury something pretty in the Outer Limits for you. Doing the Porkies/Bohemia double this weekend -- length of stay depends on how long the goods last.

Fuck, I wish I wasn't fuckin' 10hours from Boho....I saw the snow report this morning before my first class and was stoked for those up there that could be on it. That 11" came on top of 5" on Monday, I'll bet it was fuckin' $$$ up there, and the north/northwest flow is still in place up there today. Yukon, I hope you skipped classes today and made the drive to Boho. That's what I would've done if I were still at NMU...I'm hoping to get up that way at the end of Feb and the first week of March. Hopefully Jer's departure brings the goods...sorry Jer, hopefully Utard gets puked on too, just do what you can to steer those storms our way from the top of where ever it is you ski out there. Summon some evil minions to do your biding or some shit.

Whoever wasn't at Marquette mountain today missed out. (unless you were at Boho)

I might think about going up to Boho this weekend, if the snow keeps falling.

Weekend? This weekend? Think? You might think about it? Playoffs? You wanna talk about Playoffs?

Dude, you go to Northern. Skip class for a day and hit it midweek. Remember at Northern Michigan University the "N" stands for "nowledge"....

I wouldn't wait until the weekend for all the idiots to get up there, I'd hit it Thursday or Friday....shit, unless your a science or math major you probably don't have classes on Fridays any way.

But that's just like my opinion man.

Cincinnati metro area got 4 - 8 of feathery pow on our icy 4+ inches on the ground. Shut down 71 N completely.

Thumbs up PNS RedBull 70s Bump Comp

Looks like RedBull has approached Perfect North about doing a 70s style bump comp. From their park manager on another forum:

We are actually already having a red bull mogul comp thats a 70's throwback comp.. moguls with 2 jumps in the middle.. Red Bull Contacted us and its a 4 person team event must be in 70s outerwear and the tricks have to be 70s.. no 3s or flips just iron crosses and twister spreads.. I think the winner gets a trip to steamboat for a huge finals thing..
So, looks like I need some teammates. I think I've got one buddy lined up, who else would be in the area and intersted. The date is tenatively the 20th. I'll post more details as they emerge. Now if only they'd let Center bump up.

I'm dusting off my 190 Hart F-17s. Not exactly 70's equipment, but old school skinny bump ski for sure.

Now where did I put those Olin Mark IV's?

about 65 today ...after last week's 2 days of snow and 3 days of frigid temps.

cool down thursday into the weekend. PNS Friday 4 me.
should be some bump runs after this big warm-up...
unless they got groomed on down.

I was out on Monday, actually a pretty good day; lots of sunshine, and pretty firm snow for the weather.

I'm pleading with them to allow the bumps to form with this warm up.

    I'll be out Thursday am.
