    Nice pics.
I skied Sunday at Wilmot and they had pretty much recovered from the rain.
I'll have to make it out to the 'nut again this year.
For sure. Send me a note or give me a ring next time you plan to go. I won't be up next weekend since I won this two day/night trip to Vegas at work that I somehow manipulated into a four night trip to Vegas. Didn't know if it was going to come through till today since soft manipulation takes time, patience and the balls to walk away (backup plan was roadtrip to Colorado) . We have a room on the strip but I think we'll spend most of the trip over at the Mammoth Casino if you get my drift

Flailing on ice on teleboards is actually a lot of fun I totally agree. Strange but true. Ice on steep runs that is.

Last years Sickbirds actually have a lot better edge hold than my old 70mm K2 Piste Stinx. The skinny K2's are just rubbery soft and their torsional stiffness is terrible - unlike your BD's I am sure. The sickbirds are semi-quick to come around and pretty burly. They do have a small sweetspot BUT they will still come around if you get on your heels in the steeps - which I love and am still not totally used to. I used to have to straightline out of those mistakes, whereas now I just have time for an oh shit direct to recovery. Mounted 2 cm back feels just right.

Gotta thank tele58 one more time for the hookup on the brand new year old T1's. Sickety.

Boho is reporting 8" of fresh this morning with another probably 3-6" by Friday morning in the forecast. Too bad I'm a broke ass college kid, sounds like this weekend could be a lot of fun up there.

Winter Storm Warning for Northern Indiana & Southern Michigan. NWS says 6-10 from Kalamazoo south. More snow expected through the weekend and the extended forecast has light snow through Thursday. Temps should stay below freezing as well. Hopefully LES keeps the mid Michigan hills well covered.

Anyone going to Bohemia this weekend? Looks like some more snow before the temps drop below zero.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Bohemia will not suck next weekend...

What the second to last picture doesn't quite show is the 'oh shit' moment before I went airborne and landed on my head. She just missed it.

Fuck, I wish I could do Bohemia this weekend, but it ain't happenin'. However, with the solid blocking ridge of high pressure set up in the west we could find ourselves back in a storm cycle once again *anti-jinx*. I'm going to try to get up to Cab either Thurs, Fri, or Saturday. Snow is in the forecast nearly everyday this week, so things could be pretty decent no matter where you choose to go.

Not in my best form in that shot, Nohills was a little quick on the shutter, 2 more seconds and I clipped a gate and wiped out.

Must have been going at least 15 mph Besides, you wouldn't want to have much compression after the 20 degree start at the top of the hill.

No, that was the first pic of you. Still missed it, though.

Ski plans for me this weekend: going with the church youth group to Mad River Mountain OH.

Indy - I can handle the cold and the wind, but I'm worried my car cannot handle the snow. I have decent AT tires, but the clearance is too low if the roads drift over. I don't always ski in the softshell jacket. It looks like the forecast is improving. I'd hate to miss out on all the recent snow.

NoHills - must have the runs mixed up. Thanks for the embarrassing pictures, always were good reasons I stayed on the other side of the camera. Have fun in Ohio, I'll be in the ER for another fun filled weekend.

    Nate, Indy & Nohills,

I'll have to hookup with you guys there sometime.

What do you recommend: Tour or Skate xc's?

I'd go with tour skis with metal edges. The ice gets bulletproof there often and you'll need some grip.

Seriously, with all this recent snow, some touring skis would be fun up there if you laid low from property owners.
