Was said person also wearing cmh apparel? You used to see those old guys cruising around Alta with cmh skis and embroidered arcteryx jackets

The time has come. Here's the xsplosiv 3 ...kinda like a modified cap ski. All other models that I have seen have the top metal sheet exposed on the edge I always felt these skied softer than any of the other sploders

Re: boot center, on the PNH the suggested center is marked at 78.5cm from the tail for this 190 but it's worth reviewing this entire thread

Saw one of these guys yesterday at Mission. Matching mustard yellow Arc’teryx jacket and pants with CMH embroidery.

I dig this thread. I've still have my pair of 190 Explosivs with the Wizards. Mounted with Fritschi Freerides, they were my touring skis when I lived at the base of the Cottonwoods. Those things are still my favorite all time ski. I loved them so much, they became my inbounds ski of choice until it got cut up, then I moved to a pair of G4s for the afternoon.
I don't ski them much anymore, but might need to drag them out for the nostalgia.

nah, this guy was wearing a generic ~20 year old ski jacket.

i did recently see a family in (newer) cmh gear though. Matching blue arcteryx jackets, hestra gloves, all embroidered with CMH logos.
