The time has come. Here's the xsplosiv 3 ...kinda like a modified cap ski. All other models that I have seen have the top metal sheet exposed on the edge I always felt these skied softer than any of the other sploders

Re: boot center, on the PNH the suggested center is marked at 78.5cm from the tail for this 190 but it's worth reviewing this entire thread

I dig this thread. I've still have my pair of 190 Explosivs with the Wizards. Mounted with Fritschi Freerides, they were my touring skis when I lived at the base of the Cottonwoods. Those things are still my favorite all time ski. I loved them so much, they became my inbounds ski of choice until it got cut up, then I moved to a pair of G4s for the afternoon.
I don't ski them much anymore, but might need to drag them out for the nostalgia.
