depends on if you want a reverse camber ski or normal fatty.

The reverse camber make skiing powder sick, but not very effective on -piste. The pontoon is a reverse camber ski and will not ski good inside a resort. If you want a reverse camber ski that is not as wide, Rossi just released the S7. Its 145/115/123. Supposed to be a big mountain resort/backcountry ski. another choice is the K2 obesethed.

A regular fatty I would recomend is the Volkl Gotama. It can be an everyday ski. Hope this helps

"Heavy jump landings could trigger an avalanche"

"We felt that a freeride ski had to get "something" to cut in the hard snow
but that this "something" had to be very short to allow for easy turning.
This was how the ski with metal fins was born as a freeride ski for extreme conditions."

You'll have to buy two of these, but mount them with jesters, (dukes if you want to tour) and you will have sickest fattest pow skis out there.

Seriously its what everyone on this forum is doing this year, but don't search for any threads on powder skis, you won't find any because we never talk about this kind of stuff around here.

I would suggest the Völkl Kuro. It includes some of the newest ideas of fat ski design in a well thought out package. More versatile than the Pontoon, but still a pow specific ski.

You might want to be a little more specific in your search for "the ultimate powder ski". There are hundreds of reviews about many fatties on this forum and the web. I am pretty new around here but I can at least pull together information without asking such a dumb questions.

What part of ULTIMATE Fat Ski don't you understand? Any one of us could just spout off random skis. Besides, the 1080 at 96 UF is a midfat at best so you fail twice.
