How are you guys with newer M sleds attaching skis? I need to take a closer look but it doesn't look like the simple 3 bungie setup that worked on my Nytro is going to work on the M. I'm only interested solutions that don't cost $250.

Can't you just drill a small hole in the tunnel, attach a small loop of webbing to run a voile strap through, then another strap around ski and rear bumper?
Always worked for me and it should cost just a few bucks.

Ditching the Nytro and going to a Cat?
    I'm swaying towards green myself.

They also protect your ski boots from the devastation caused by running boards. They keep your boots warmer and drier. Extremely easy to put on and off. THe overshoes weigh one pound, and fold flat allowing you to store them anywhere. For the last 4 years, these overshoes have been one of the most important pieces of snowmobiling equipment I have. If you are frustrated with sled skiing because of your hard shell ski boots, you need to buy these. You can thank me later.

Well, as I posted earlier I DID grenade a Doo motor. Yeah, I know, all Ski-Doo's blow up.

Anyway, top end kit has run me 350 but now I'm looking at getting my cylinder honed (or a new jug all together) and I need a new head.

    Ebay my best bet?

I have all summer to take care of this. I'd like to get rid of this sled and get something longer and made by Polaris (hehe) but I wont have the money to get into a new sled this next winter.

^Which engine? I've got a Rev 800HO head that you can have for shipping costs. Make sure to figure out what caused the damage. Too many times guys put back together their motor with a new top end and a few miles down the trail do a repeat.

That is the right motor. What is your paypal?

I'm honestly not sure what caused this one. First guess is it threw a thrust washer through. (top end rod/bearing/wrist pin assembly) When we pulled the pistons there seemed to only be one of the two in place (but it might have dropped out when pushing out the wrist pin) Not sure why this happened though. There is a bunch of shrapnel "welded" into my piston/head and a good score up the cylinder wall from whatever caused this...just no clear source

Everything else looked great (piston wash, the good cylinder etc.) It is a bit unnerving that this "just happened". This top end had under 500 miles on it.
