15 and 16/17 are different chasis and may not be compatible.

any axys 163 cover will work but the polaris branded ones are 300
You can get a 3/4 cover that covers the seat but not the whole tunnel for 60 dollars less

Who’s using what for backpacks? Currently rocking an old BCA Stash BC (30L I think?) but find it super floppy and almost too much for what I need. My heavy gear goes in the tunnel pack, backpack is for layers, snacks, and water bottle. Riding tight Maine trees so I don’t need an airbag. Any other options I should look at?

Just finished the weekend assisting in the certifying of 5 folk from 3 SAR teams, and we only had (at best) 2ft of hardpack with crust. Should be at least 5’ of soft pack where we rode. Decided against 3km of gravel and ice access to get to the local alpine peak, so stuck to the plateau highland. Lots of wildlife sign (moose, wolf, and kitty) on the trails. Challenged the team’s day 2 trail tour with finding unmapped trails, alder in-growth that should be covered (flintstone’s car wash! And who remembered their saw?), creek x’ings that were running at fall levels, and mtn sleds overheating. Everyone had fun though!

But this season needs a refresh so bad.

Vest. I use the Dakine Airbag but since you don't need an airbag, WhatVest, Dakine, Flylow, etc. all are good options.

Half your kit goes in the vest, the other half goes in a tunnel bag. On your body/vest is the absolute mission critical survival gear (avalanche rescue gear, first aid kit, food/water, warm layers, GPS, satellite communicator/SOS device, etc etc etc. In the tunnel bag is your beer, extra gloves, goggles, sled repair stuff, hand saw, additional warm stuff/food/water, and whatever else.

I want to give a shout out to adrenalated for making some nice low profile ski racks for snowmobiles. I've only gotten a few days of skiing with them and haven't slednecked too hard with skis on board. Shoot him a PM if you are looking for a new rack.

Also as an FYI the G4 racks require you to also buy the heavy duty Skidoo bumper.

Indeed it is. There are 2 volcanoes in Washington that allow brap...I'll let you figure out which one it is

I’m going to say Baker but who the hill knows. I’m a Canuck so it’s hard to determine. I was curious as braap’n 5 min of glacier is very reserved for the upmost top explorers of the 48. We have some insane pulls around our parts (3k) that
equate but only in extreme glacial environments. I’m sure it’s more common the more north you extend, but rare in your parts.
