I'll be pissed as ever if Umass doesn't have a snow day.

If they do I'll be skinning up mount tom tomorrow, Magic after my morning class on Thursday. Should be there around noon.

GFS QPF. You can clearly see the axis of heavist QPF running right through central VT. Like I said this am- the heavist snow will fall in central Southern VT.

...So you have to imagine some mixing is possible.
Eh, so I missed on the sleet yesterday morning. I thought I hit this one pretty well otherwise.

Man I wish I wasn't working in Brooklyn tomorrow At least I'll have the pleasure of scraping ice off my driveway when I get home

LIGHT SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING AND WILL
BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS EVENING. THE
SNOW MAY MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO A PERIOD OF SLEET THIS AFTERNOON
ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL VERMONT. THE SNOW WILL BEGIN TO TAPER OFF TO
SNOW SHOWERS AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. A TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION
OF 10 TO 16 INCHES IS EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM BY TONIGHT...WITH
SOME LOCALLY HIGHER TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 12 TO 20 INCHES
    ACROSS EASTERN VERMONT BY TONIGHT.
What can I say but FKNA. The house I am remodeling is 5 minutes ,door to ass on chairlift. Will be waiting and watching,8" or 1 PM and skiing I will be. Tomorrow lurking for 1st chair.
    Have fun!!!!

    Update..
Southern VT- around 8-12 with sleet/freezing rain mixing in...still the location of the heaviest qpf but with the rain snow line vertically stacked just south in Mass it wouldn't take much for significant ice to move into the area.
Central VT - 10-12 with sleet possible
Northern VT 12-14 (or more in really favored areas) - Biggest danger here is the qpf shield gets cut off south and you end up with less- like 8 or so.
ADK- 10-12- again biggest danger is moisture cut off.

Tomorrow should be the $$ day- winds will not really begin to whip until later in the day- and in southern areas the powder will be nice and heavy so it will stick arouind
At least that's what it looks like now....I'll update as the storm moves around.
