    The magical question

Quick searching online says that the LED changes to indicate doneness and its called an "over thermoeter". Both of which indicate that its good to go

P, the cord is plenty long. You leave the "base" on the counter, and the cord and thermometer go through the oven door and the probe goes into the meat (hehe.......). The cord is small and your oven door's seal goes right around it, no probs at all. Thing looks sweet, but I'll never use it because my parents do the turkey cookin'.......and they have one!

Don't muck that turkey any more. This is your key to greatness.

    so im interested

    couple more questions

whats the temp range on this one?
i know some digi thermometers have a small range and arent useful if you need to use it for frying or measuring cold stuff.
also, how long is your probe? he he he (seriously though, how long is the metal proby bit?)

    K, here's what I found out.

    Probe: 3.5"

Wire length from probe to unit: 32"

Temp range: ?? to 180 F I think. Doesn't give specifics on this in the manual. If this is a deal breaker, I'll pull the thing out of the box and put some batteries in it and test for you.

It really is pretty dummy proof....just choose what kind of meat you have and it tells you when it's done. You can set the "alert" temp, so the screen will display the alert temp and the internal temp.

    You're number three.

If P doesn't want it, then it goes to Focus. If he bails, you're next Ashean.

Sure...just stick the probe up your ass. Remove your buttplug first. PM Rontele for more detailed instructions.
