    WTB: Mid Fat for Touring

All my efforts to nail down a somewhat cheap set of skis for a pair of dukes I just got have failed. Tried to buy some coombas on craigslist, bust, some districts, bust, some VCTs new, to expensive.....

simply looking for a prefarably new, but if not once drilled, good condition, 100mm to 110 mm. more than 25 side cut. Light enough to tour, but stiff enough to battle any crud that may be encoutered. Already have bridges for shit days and kuros for pure pow, looking for something to complete the quiver.

Like i said, I tried to make some deals happen without posting one of these, but i'll see what anyone has

Looking for 300-400 shipped at most.

Deals available else where much appreciate. I have money ready to go through pay pal. So. yeah

if nothing pops up. I'll probably snag a set of zealot factory 2nds, but i have been advised by fellow tgr's that these are the anti-turn ski

Might be a tad soft. Some of the reviews here have been less than favorable, but those were for 193....let me read up a bit more, i'll let you know. thanks for the heads up. sick deal as it is.

also might be a tad heavy for dukes and touring....185 Nordica Blower 5 Ibs 5oz, 2411g (as per TGR. ski weight thread)

If you haven't seen this ski then read up and think about it

Ninthward, FirstBlood, 190cm, 97mm waist, huge rocker twin, beafy wood, but not too heavy. I ski this in a 180cm and have recommended it to many for a touring ski. There are not any more 180's left but there are 190's and 170's - The 190 though is much wider than the other two. Not quite 100 but close enough if you know what I mean

    New here -

I also second the don't go with the BD Zealot as it seems to be more of a front side charge ski

Saw VCTs on TD yesterday. Mid $300s. I think they had 189s. They did not have 182 or 175. Would be a great touring ski match to a Duke. Huge twin tip tail, tho.

Not to crush your hopes, but they've only offered the VCT in a 168 the last few times it popped up. BC.com doesn't show any of the longer lengths in stock, either. I've been checking

My bad i thought you were Utarded.
Sell the jesters put dukes on the kuros you'll have a good sidecountry
    everyday rig.
get a lighter 90 to 100 mm touring rig with lighter binders.
If you ask a lot of questions and make potential partners wait you'll be touring solo.

I'm hesitant to put the dukes on the kuros.....132 for AT, plus the weight of the dukes on my pure pow ski?

i don't know maybe I will in the end, but for now still looking for mid fat for dukes
