Wow! Some beauitful shots in there!
Fall has become my favourite time to ride.
Gotta say -- I do love that "weed," especially in the fall. Closest we get here to that color are Ginkgo trees, which are related I think. The effect of the breeze on Aspen leaves is supposedly rather unique as well, due to their stem geometry - that's why they "wave" rather than flap.
Golden Aspen juxtaposed against the dark green of the Lodgepole pines is one of the views I miss most from CO. I do understand that these days the Pine isn't quite so green anymore thanks to a certain beetle?

A dust speck, high drive
*Quick Note* I was fortunate enough to capture this dust speck on the front of my lens, while documenting the color change on High Drive, in C springs. This is one of those rare moments when you don't realize what you have until it's already past. I'm just glad I did not do anything stupid like wipe the front of my lens with a micro-cloth or anything, because then I would have missed this historic photograph.
