dudes, I don't want to miss this storm. I would really like to do Hunter or Plattekill on Friday, depending. Stupid Valentines day and work and blah blah blah is messing up the next ten days for reals. Good thing I just skied pow for three days in VT!

I could be interested in doing that, if the vermont thing doesn't work out with unfunkyufo. Are you already going to be up there, or would you be heading out from the city?

can i assume that there is still base from the previous storm in the park? or has everything in the city melted away?

I was in the Park yesterday (pre storm) and there was minimal coverage, especially anywhere with asphalt. That said, if you made a charge at it right now the Parks guys may not started salting.

njfreeskier, i am still planning to do this tomorrow, i am going to have to come back to nyc, though i will be going back up sat am (don't ask- logistical nightmare). i think the coverage will still be very good and they are expecting more tonight. i could drive but considering sat am, would be stoked to limit my driving in any way. pm me if you are in. note: i have alpine setup only at the moment.

Anyone in the NYC area reasonably competent at mounting sticks? Id rather avoid Paragon like the plague due to time constraints and pricing and would be more than happy to come to you bearing gifts of the alcoholic variety. It would be mounting Looks most likely...

aghh, thanks Gman.... I look at my apartment and realize I dont hang pictures well so drilling into skis probably shouldnt be done without adult supervision.

yea he use to run a ski shop back in the day so he still has a lot of the old equipment. I know he still has jigs for a lot of bindings so he may not need to paper mount them. He's doing a pair of looks for me and I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out. I just drop stuff off at his work so its low hassle.

PS: If you still want the seths, I can bring them up next weekend when I come up for the mag summit.
