Because, as far as I can tell njfreeskier, he compiles the list by the hits that every soundtrack gets. So I guess the logic is... best soundtrack = most visited page. So I think that's why the older films are in the list.

I could be wrong though.. but that's my guess.

I thought Real Time had a cool and original soundtrack.

Believe has had the best soundtrack of any ski movie I've heard in recent years... since maybe Teddybear Crisis. Different, variety and fit well.

Mike, you are correct. Its this years compiling of the best soundtracks ever, old and new.

I was a REALTIME fan as well. Good music, good flow. the difference between 5th, 6th and 7th was pretty minimal. Josh Berman puts together a very quality flick.

Personally, Absinthe's Optimistic is one of the best soundtracks out there. Not only is the video sick but the soundtrack fits perfect! This DVD should be on the list.

Yeah, Absinthe always has awesome music their editing is killer.

The only thing is, they still can't figure out DVD authoring. Ready (this years flick) is shot in widescreen 16:9, but for some reason the DVD is authored 4:3, so you end up with black bars on the sides AND top of the frame. They also need new cameras, some of the shots are so washed out and blurry. Still great film this year though.
