    File sharing software recommendations?

What's the latest shit you guys use? I had the old kazaalite on my old laptop, and they've sold themselves out like a $2 whore, just like Napster.

I just downloaded Gnutella and Morpheus but the search reveals squat.

    Any recommendations? Thanks!

    Ares.

    www.aresgalaxy.org

I, of course, have never used it, ahem, as such, ahem, never, but, say, if I had, hypothetically, used it, to search, it might have had great results for just about any band, including itty bitty indie ones that it really isn't cool to steal from. Ahem.

Some say Soulseek (www.slsknet.org) is great, but I've still never been able to connect to a single user. Just queued.

Either ircspy.com (+mirc, which takes some serious nerdship to learn) or bittorrent, which is quite a bit better than every other thing out there atm (www.torrentreactor.com, www.suprnova.org, etc)

soulseek for music. finds most of the stuff i listen to. sometimes you have to try a few times to find auser who shares to all.

edonkey for films (i dont use that one because we got the movies on a server here at my work... )
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

Be careful what you download if you use P2P software (specifically edonkey/emule).

I "know" of someone who downloaded a newly released movie and within a week recieved a copyright warning letter from Paramount through their ISP.
