How do "YOU" deal with ski depression?

I don't deal with it very well. I get extremely bored, but don't want to do anything, except look at ski gear or watch videos. Mountain biking and drinking helps...........a little..Been trying to deal with it for over half my live, you'd think I'd have it figured out by now.

Just wondering what you all do to keep your sanity.........

I felt that way when I lived in Nevada. Living high up in Colorado I'm actually beginning to hate winter. 8 months of it is too long.

It's always around this time of year that I start jonesin' for winter again. Being in Philadelphia and reading trip reports of you guys skiing in July doesn't help either! After a long hot east-coast summer, the first cool day of the year brings the now-traditional "ski boot party" at our place. Ski or snowboard boots are mandatory to enter; we drink good beers, watch ski movies all night, and get psyched for the upcoming ski season!

    Oh summer is a torture...

    I go skiing.

But hide it from friends, family, co-workers, and clients like the addiction that it is.

Paxil, tokyo hotel, and using my own tears for lubrication when I masturbate.
I keep thinking that if I just cut a big enough hole, maybe the pain will go away.

I used to put on dockers and a polo shirt, ride the train to Highlands Fucking Ranch and pretend to be one of "them".

Didn't seem to work too well. Now that I can work virtual office I sit around half the morning in my pajamas waiting to take a dump before getting dressed. A shower and real clothes don't help much but going for a long ride or run when I should be working does wonders.

I boiled my thermometer, and sure enough, this spot, which purported to be two thousand feet higher than the locality of the hotel, turned out to be nine thousand feet LOWER. Thus the fact was clearly demonstrated that, ABOVE A CERTAIN POINT, THE HIGHER A POINT SEEMS TO BE, THE LOWER IT ACTUALLY IS. Our ascent itself was a great achievement, but this contribution to science was an inconceivably greater matter.

Get out and play in the mountains. Take the lil guy out backpacking. Catch and eat trout. Morel mushroom hunting. Last weekend went huckleberry picking. Bag a peak or two. Post too much on the forumz.

This is truly a unique thing to the ski culture. Most people fucking love the summer. I just like it.

It is tough exactly this time of year. Spring is long out of your mind and fall is too far away. It is way too fucking hot and it is tough to get out and be active for me when it's this fucking gaddamn hot.

I mountain bike, fly fish, and camp to stay sane in the summer. This is the hardest time of the year for me.

I already had a ski dream and had to watch Lost and Found last week.

Soon September will be here and that means ski sales/tent sales maybe a big dump in the mountains. October is next, which brings snow usually and usually some stuff to slide on, leaves start falling, cold crisp air, see you breath type weather. November is usually filled with BC skiing, sometimes shitty, sometimes epic.
