All the more reason to keep on doing what we do for recreation. Great to hear JB, but not the being sent to SLC for care. I am sure they will do a great job whatever it is.

Make sure to be very open and honest with your anesthesiologist about any concerns you might have. You are too important of a person to have something negative happen. Here is to good vibes.

Again, thanks for all the support. Appreciated. It means alot. So.... the cardiac doctors met yesterday to discuss my case. More tests for Wednesday and then possible less invasive procedure next Monday. Mitral clip. We will see how it goes. I am feeling way better. I was literally dying over a period of two weeks. I&nbsp; am back to near where I was before this episode. I actually thought I had Covid. Anyways... going to ride my bike and enjoy life regardless. Hit the top of KC on Sunday. Was awesome.&nbsp;</p>

Well.... here we are. Hours away from the procedure. While low risk, it isn't no risk. I feel good though. Beats open heart. You should be hearing from me tomorrow afternoon. Look for it. :-)

That is great to hear LBL.

you mentioned risks earlier, but it is interersting to assume the risk in the sports we enjoy but when it comes to risks associated with medical procedures, those kinds of risks are so much tougher to manage than when we personally assume those risks. putting your life into someone elses hands feels just unnatural for those of us that participate in the sports that give us such joy and liveliness

Thanks and Thank you, Dj ! !!
I tried to get word to you early in May as things were pretty-Sideways for our friend, LBigLost... my thoughts at the time was maybe a ride on the Kawasaki would do him Good. ... looking ahead, either that, Or
If You would be up for an e-mtn. bike ride, have LBL show you a couple of trails as September first approaches ( The big 7-0. ) From my perspective, [ those dam(sic) bikes] are like church to him.
ride ON!, my friends! with love tj

Home again. Feeling near normal again. Groin area is sore after where they went in. My heart (mostly) no longer pumping blood in the wrong direction. I went from severe risk to the low end of moderate risk. Gotta thank the team performance for fixing me up. They are awesome.

Thanks for all the support here also. Even though I don't know most of you personally, it means a lot. Really. Thank you....

No plans to slow down yet. I feel this next year will find me on the slopes more. Both on a board and a bike. If it weren't for the sore spot, I would take a short spin around the block today.

My Durango is stranded in the mountains with 2 flat tires. Going back in today to retrieve it. Big nails ruined both tires. Shit. It's way back in. Will be another adventure. My son Trent will do the heavy lifting. [emoji123]
