I think the record free dive is about 350ft and took about 4minutes. That video is just longer than 4 min. If he did go 600ft down, there is no way he went to the bottom in one take w/o aid.
its not fake. he claims that he did not mean to imply that he touched the bottom of the hole, he said thats impossible. all he wanted to do was make a short film where he would bridge freediving and base jumping. the guy was the record holder in constant weight freediving, i think he set it at -113 ft, but it was broken in 2009.

what he can do is incredible and the film they made is really cool.

    THE RED DOT.

For centuries, Hindu women have worn a dot on their foreheads. Most of us have naively thought this was connected with tradition or religion, but the Indian embassy in Ottawa has recently revealed the true story.

When a Hindu woman gets married, she brings a dowry into the union. On her wedding night, the husband scratches off the dot to see whether he has won a convenience store, a gas station, a donut shop, a taxi cab, or a motel in the United States .. If nothing is there, he must remain in India to answer telephones and provide us with technical advice.
