That sucked. Mountain biking is for short, fat, retarded kids.

Since I'm only 2 of 3 on that count, that's why I suck so much.

    Nice, Steve! Thanks for sharing.

Rode the B yesterday for the first time - the dirt was in great shape. Not sure how much I'd love riding up there if it's not tacky.

I'm convinced it takes a few runs down Bruce to feel the flow (at least for me), but fun, steep riding for sure! Can't wait to go back (especially after today's rain).

    I'll drive a shuttle, that's fine.

I just ride in the morning, that way I'm good and tired and ready to stand around and shoot.

    Particle,

    I am open thursday-sunday.

I'm down for all of the above. TH, Friday might be a bit bus(ier) on the trails with DH practicers. Doubt it'll be too bad though.

I'd like to go up there to shoot, and thunderstorms are still in the forecast for thursday. Perhaps we should just play it by ear and keep tabs on the forecast.

Maybe Powstash can come and operate the gimbal on the heli for me.

Besides, rain is sure good for riding at the B.

Nice Vid Steve. Out of curiosity, What's your camera's resolution/model. The trails always look so smooth on helmet cam footage. Is that the angle of the shot, the speed, the resolution, or the effect of making it something that is downloadable for the internet?

Also, I like it even more when you follow someone with the cam. It's so sweet to see someone flow down the trail. Upper body quiet and moving the bike through the terrain. That's the image I try to hold onto when riding.

    Phatfreeheeler,
A few things. I wanted to get someone in front of me, but I was the fastest one there and I felt like i was going to slow already. Next time i will get someone in front. second, I think like skiing, keeping your upper body as smooth as you can will improve your riding. So i have been trying to ride and flow as smooth as I can on the trail and let my bike, arms and legs take all the vibration. Along with that I just picked up a Ironhorse sunday with a Fox 40 on the front. Smoothest ride I have ever been on for sure.

Otter, if you want to follow-cam tongiht, I'll be there from about 5:30 on. With all the rain, everything is riding REALLY well up there right now. Runs will be FAST, hits on Bruce should be pretty easy with nice in-run speed.
