I've heard goofoff works but can't that stuff take paint off too? Pulling the decals isn't too bad, but getting the leftover sticky shit is....
thanks

Drive slow, homie.
i've used goofoff or goo-be-gone or whatever it's called a bunch of times on frames and it's never taken the paint off. just be sure to test a little spot somewhere where it won't be noticed or doesn't really matter.
that rig almost finished dood?
let's get out and ride
I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.
eucalyptus oil - should be able to get a small bottle from the drug store
just put some on some cotton wool or a cloth and wipe the sticky leftover stuff off.
doesn't normally affect paint but sometimes will dull the finish so check a small patch first
wax remover works good too. Might want to make sure it doesn't fade the paint.
get the solvent they use to install golf grips on clubs, don't get the water-based one though.
use base cleaner from the ski shop or denatured alchol from uncle dusty's medicine cabinet.
i bought automotive adhesive remover at the auto zone. used it to debadge my truck the other day. Peel off the stickers and spray it on, let it sit 3-5 minutes and rub it with a cloth.
More fucked up than a cricket in a hubcap
hit them hair dryer or heat gun (on lowest setting) for a few minutes
Nail polish remover.
Your dog just ate an avocado!
Wd-40 or paint thiner will work fine.

Goof off works fine, just stinks. I've had equally good luck just taking a kettle of boiling water and slowly pouring it on the sticker...the sticker will then easily peel off or be scrapped off (using an old credit card or something). Works like a charm and no chemicals/stink. Just don't spill the water on you and you're fine.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
