    Bro 183 review

ok so i finally got my bros set up and ready for this summer in argentina. i haven't been able to ski that much this winter due to work out in Wyoming but thanks to that job i was able to get all the gear i wanted.

    Bro 183 softs
    Marker Duke large bindings
    Scarpa tornado pros
Total weight of each ski: 7 pounds or 11 with the boot.

    me
    5'10
    170
strong skiier, i like getting into trees more technical lines rocks and chutes.

    Conditions
    spring corn, east coast

absolutely awful last weekend at mount snow vermont, but to their credit the open trails had a good cover and no bare spots so i was comfortable bringing out a new pair of skis out.

    Review

i couldn't wait until june in south america to try these skis out so i jumped in my car and headed up to vermont for the day. These skis far exceeded my expectations, even reading countless threads and reviews on here. The ski absoultly rocked and tore up everything that i could find. unfortunately i was not able to dive into the trees or really open em up, but these things turned on a dime in the mogles i felt completely comfortable and relaxed going strait down ripcord, mount snows only real expert run. I don't think i've ever felt so comfortable on a brand new pair of skis, i had no doubts or concerns of what they could do.
Mount snow only had 5 trails open minus one as a green. On the front face there was a trail that went strait down to the base and had pretty much everything from corn to slush at the base. i was able to almost strait line it all the way to the bottom without even thinking. These skis seem to want to go faster it seems the faster they go the more control i have. even on the last run i wanted to take it easy and just cruise down with some slow turns and the skis just wouldn't take it they wanted to go faster. These are without a doubt the best ski i have ever been on, i cant wait to get them to some real mountains where i can really get a feel for them.

not much of a review i know but i was not really able to get much done considering the conditions this weekend up in vermont

bottom line these skis rock the stiffness is just right, softer tip and tail and stiff in the middle section i also love the beveled top sheet it will pay off on some tours. when. finally and maybe most importantly they have already become the envy of all my friends.

awesome job on the ski this yr to every one at pmgear and ak. i hope to see em nx year if the dollar recovers.

Tote 'em up to Mount Washington and throw yourself on some 50º +, and then, report back!

    If you live, they're good!

Gonna be lots of fun A-framing that load up the trail; made for high altitude schralping...

If they don't slap you around on the flats and shine on the steeps, then you probably ought to look more closely at the mfg name on the topsheets .... you might have bought some dynastars!

Turning on a dime in moguls??? Damn, you must be some kind of jumpturn psycho or you've got some 32m radius dimes and some girly moguls...

"You don't want to run into me on the tram dock. I went to jail. I have an inclinometer, and a friend of a friend who's a lawyer. Why do you have to be such a hater? I was just trying to post some stoke." The Suit

"I demoed the Davenport 2 weeks ago, I really liked them a lot... the blue sidewalls and tip really looked great with my pants. I also tried the '11 MX98, they didn't look as good with my outfit. If you have blue pants or maybe some Lange race boots I recommend you check them out."
