    I´m impressed by those photos. Makes me want a macro lens longer than 50mm.

    if you're using a tripod and your subject isn't moving and you're manually focusing.. why not just use a smaller aperture? or is the point here that even the smallest aperture gives you too little depth of field at these focal lengths and distance?
