    3rd mount on Goats?

So I have a pair of 06-07 Red/white 183 Goats drilled for fks155, and naxo's. I am thinking about selling my naxo's and mounting them a 3rd time with dynafits. Will this create a durability issue. I weigh 180 without gear and ski aggresively. Will I break these skis? Would filling old holes with epoxy help with durability?

No, no, and probably not. Just bang in the plastic plugs with glue like usual.

Just make sure your holes are >1cm center-to-center from the nearest hole, and you can drill your skis until no more holes will fit...

I've got lots of skis with 3 or 4 drillings.

I broke a pair of bandit XXX's last year that were on their 3rd mount. They were foam core though.

How did you break them? snap the ski or binding pull out?

The ski snapped. I think this was due to where the old holes were in relation to where the Naxo's were mounted and the new flex point that was created from the naxo's and their longer foot print. When they flexed hard it was right on the old rossi holes that ended up being under the toe of my boot.

I have the same worry myself. I pulled my Hammerheads(all six screws) out of my Gots a week or so ago. They had been drilled for alpine once before and I was thinking I had to do some T-nuts to make them "trustworthy" again. I'm not sure what to do.

I have a pair of the first year gots mounted three times, no problem.
I have a pair of first year sanouks mounted four times, no problem.
I even own a pair of völkl dogen (park skis), that have a lighter build than the others, drilled and mounted three times, no problem.

Yeah go ahead and drill them if the patterns don't conflict. I really really doubt that the ski would ever snap. Only thing it hurts is resale value.
