could you live in a house knowing someone had hung themselves in it?

the previous owner of the house i grew up in hung himself in the attic. my parents didnt tell my me and my brother about it until long after we had moved out and they had sold the house.

i think if i was mel, id burn that fucker and start over.

IIRC Local code requires carriage bolts rather than the more traditional nails.
