Damn I cant believe that I finally did it.
I just picked up this bad boy:
08 Skidoo Rev XP Summit Everest 800 with electric start.
Now my top ramen is going to taste even better now that I have a good reason for being poor.

Yaaaaa Gunder! Stoked for you.
Don't forget about us, eh?
Edit to say I will be even poorer next year to make the same purchase.
Nice buy dude-if you need to practice towing folks to the pow I would be happy to help out.![]()
Very nice, I also will be poor next winter for the same reason, except Polaris. Oh and make sure you have a couple belts with you to start out, I know a lot of XP's have ate belts some with as few as 50 miles on them. So make sure you are covered till you find out if you have a belt eater or not.
The Worst mistakes, make the best memories.
he's gonna need to practice driving himself to the pow first.... without tipping over... or.... hitting any gas lines...![]()

Grats Gunder! But why the electric start? Girlie man... haha.
Have fun on the Island, and be ready to do a lot of digging.
What? No pictures of the actual pony?
Whassamatter, no camera?
hope it takes you to the misty, Gunder
Let me lock in the system at Warp 2
Push it on into systematic overdrive
You know what to do
Gunder
You are going to love it. I have the same sled in a 163" and could not be happier with it. 300 miles no burned belts, and have no complaints. Great sled.

Congrats! You really went for it, eh?!?!
Drag that sucker on up, buddy![]()

I wouldnt buy a new model ski doo ever after this and last season w/ their 800's.
Lemons are yellow.
right on. i am looking to pick up my first sled next winter (probably new so i can abuse the warranty).
any first-timer advice? did you finance it? how was that? insurance?
now go get that thing hella stuck!
Saweeeeet
Excellent!
...and the love-hate sled relationship begins....
If I sold both my cars, I....
Nevermind. Nice sled, Grant.
ROBOTS ARE EATING MY FACE.
Very Nice, that would be the perfect compiment to my bearcat. That thing will help you get to the money lines, and money shots! Certainly a wise investment.

One day...
Sick man!
You'll love it. I rode one around in the Sierra a lot - great great GREAT ride!!!
Life's simple: Ski or Die
yeah Grant-welcome to the dark side
Finally a good excuse for the home-brew
Braaaaap Braaaaap! Have fun with that thing, it might be a little frustrating at first but it's well worth the pain!
Hot. Now get some real pics up!
Forced days in bed this winter: 48
Forced days on crutches/walker: 37
I'M WALKING AGAIN!!!
Days on snow: Are you kidding?
This is my 7th winter snowmobiling. Thousands of miles.
I'm not being a dick. I've heard plento of stories from my friends that there is a list of problems that keeps building w/ the 07/08's. i.e. failure on 800's.
I'm biased against BRP.
And I had a lemon 98 summit that thing never ran good. But my bud who had the same sled ran great.
Gunder will probably be fine. Slednecks over on Snowest ride harder probably.
I would get the 600 ho poo if I were buying this year. When you get proficent at sledding the 600's they make today will get you anywhere they go. All you got to do is trackpoach.
pages of the stuff really. Just in case anyone is on the fence buyer beware!!
