    Comfort toe lever sticking

I am having trouble with my Comfort toe lever. When depressing the toe lever from locked out tour mode to either ski mode or to release, I relly have to yard down on it to get it out of the highest lock postion. The binding has just been reinstalled with the new style toe plate. It has not happened previously. It takes more effort and time than it should to get it into release/ski mode. It only happens with one toe piece. Suggestions?

Double check the gap on the rear? Maybe too much forward pressure? I'm a Dynafit jong, so its just a guess.

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

i have trouble on one of my new style toes getting into tour

id say to double check you have your screws installed right
cause of the toe plate itself being threaded, it can be a little tricky to make sure you get the thing to mount flush.

also, try to torque on the lever instead of just pushing down on it, kinda like youd do when trying to get into tour by pulling up under the lever and pushing down on that little tab with the skier. sorry if that made no sense.

other than that, go do some finger excersizes?

I find that when I crank mine up it's easiest to bang it with the butt of my pole grip to get it down.
If I try to just push it gradually harder the thing bends more than when I give it a gentle hit. I'll let you know if I break mine.

I dont have dynafits, and I cant find the article, but I did recently read a write up on how to fix a sticking toe piece. The solution was to further grind out that little notch under the toe of your boot to allow for clearance - not sure if this applies to what you are experiencing. I'll keep looking for the write up.

Found it: http://www.wildsnow.com/?p=983, doesn't look like your problem but worth a shot.

Since the problem is just with switching from tour to ski (not with releasing), and since the problem occurred only after swapping toe plates, seems like it's not related to excessive rubber or some internal mechanism. So maybe something about the subtle differences in how aggressively the screws are installed, which in turn is affecting the distance or angle between the toe piece and the toe plate, and thereby affecting the difficulty with with the end of the toe lever engages the bump on the toe plate?
