This jacket is too big for me and I don't really need it, so if someone is looking for a great chilling/resort jacket that looks great and is still pretty technical, the Merrell Universal Jacket is your ticket.
I've worn it a handful of times around town and while shoveling snow in my driveway. It's a nice jacket overall, but it's just a tad too large for me. Not quite technical for BC, but great for resort skiing and chilling. Non-smoking home... NO RIPS, TEARS or STAINS... LOOKS BRAND NEW.

I had this jacket from Merrell for a write up I did. Its a good jacket. Pro shell Gore tex. I didnt like the pockets, but thats a personal preference..this is a KILLER DEAL....I think this thing retails for some insane # like $400...
Breathed well on a couple early winter slogs in October here in the wasatch.
I gave mine to my dad...
