Where to have skis mounted in Aspen/ Snowmass?

I dont like swiss cheese and some tech will take a beating if my skis end up that way. So enlighten me.

There are a lot of decent shops in the area.

    What skis are they?

The techs at Stefan Kailen's actually really know what they're doing, and they won't rape you on price (probably $20) but they really don't like having to do freehand mounts.

Durrance, Hamilton's, Stapleton's are also all good places.

Most shops in town are more race/skinny ski oriented, but they'll get the job done right.

Stapleton mounted my dp 120's and did a primo job, after the condescending questions about whether they were for a trip to alaska(stapleton is pretty race oriented). They only place to avoid is Aspen sports. I am sure they have some good techs but the people I have met there seem like they don't even ski sometimes.

Gorusch, right now has more experienced techs than most any other shop in town. Mounting is done at night, and most techs have at least 10 yrs exp.

I can personally vouch for Norm at the Highlands Tune Shop. I cannot vouch for anyone else over there though.

+1 for Hamilton's... they don't act all retarded when you bring in fat skis.

Pretty standard mount for a lot of these shops...

Hamilton did a good job with a tune...
Incline just mounted my Sumo's and did a fine job.

Id have to say Norm at the tune center in Highlands knows his shit in and out. Hamilton i cant complain, they do good hand work and their mountings are standard.

Norm would barter if thats your thing, and i can personally vouch for his experience and expertise. Taught me a few things after i thought i knew a lot.

6 pack and/or a few bucks, mount will be done beautifully.
