    What is the best Lt. Winter bivy?

    Looking for a winter bivy sack that is Lt. yet durable. Checked out the BD Winter Bivy, is this is as good as it gets?

    For the money though, and if you like the Epic material, the BD Winter Bivy is a great choice.

    The winter bivy is cheap and works. The zipper is a bit flimsy, I warranteed a prior one because it broke.

    I recall that Lou Dawson on his "trooper traverse" trip just removed the zipper entirely beforehand.
