    Sun Valley inbounds slide

Friend just emailed (no link for a story) that there was an inbounds slide on Baldy that buried a kid today. Witnessed by an instructor, who got help there quick and the kid was pulled out in 11 minutes. Anybody have any details?

How many inbounds slides have there been this season?
Shut your eyes and think of somewhere. Somewhere cold and caked with snow.

Wow, sounds like that went as well as an avalanche rescue could go.

Where is Hershey Highway or Sunset Strip? I grew up skiing at Sun Valley and know the mountain very well, but i've never heard of those runs. Just curious.

That kid is incredibly lucky to be alive. Agreed that those patrollers deserve serious props.

Hershey Highway is the cattrack from Lower College back into River Run. The slide was 100 yards or so from the start of the cattrack, just below it.
