copper was a lot of fun up high today. Taco off tucker, union peak and Spaulding bowl are smooth and absolutely ripping.

Almost the whole state has gone green. Time to get up high and look for some good snow!

Curious to hear where anyone has been finding good snow. Surface conditions seem pretty damn complicated.

Ha...its relative. None of it is above 5/10 on the absolute scale. High N below the windfucked zone is OK. Solar aspects were soft over supportive for about 15mins. on Tuesday.

Hype for V-Day slammer is starting to build. Even if we get half of what is predicted now for the San Juans it would be a huge improvement. In all my years down here I don't think I have seen it get this dire this quickly. Two thursdays ago, I had a great pow day and was thinking, that this hasn't been a half bad season considering. 9 days later town is halfway melted out and surface snow conditions are as bad as I have ever seen mid winter. Fingers crossed, gunna burn some old skis and a lock of hair tonight in a bonfire for good luck

I skied Berthoud yesterday and wind kissed areas under Low Hazard Rating skied really well. Todays snow should help and the forecast says much more on the way.

So up here, it really is skiing and sledding better that the weather over the coarse of the last 2 weeks would indicate.

I had a medical procedure that prevents me from skiing or copulating for a while. Therefore the heavens will rejoice and spread copious white joy all over your faces in my absence. Suck it bitches. You are welcome.

How was the whole parking situation today, given that it was busier?

Someone got caught and carried on BP yesterday, Corner Pocket. Not buried fortunately. Triggered from a thin rocky section presumably up top. Caic ticked up up to moderate for yesterday, and that zone now Considerable with addl snow
