    Chicago Ridge makes Vail look steep, FYI. It's very deceptive from afar.

    No one goes to Cooper for the steeps, that's for sure, and no amount of terrain expansion is gonna change that. Good little community hill though.

    Nope. But as Redacted said - it's a fantastic little local ski area. The pub in the lodge is fun, too.

    Pub is great. So is the little bar at the nordic lodge. Add in the cookhouse and you got a good night.

    the taproom is the newish building there and probably what SS is talking about. Been there 3 or 4 years now. There is also a small irish bar in the main lodge. terrible bloodies, live and learn, but still a great bar to hang at.
    Nordorkers building across the parking lot has a small bar, big fireplace, 3 person rocking chair on the back deck, usually has some kind of mulled wine or other alcoholic casserole.
