What’s faster on a powder weekend? Driving to Vail/BC from Denver or driving to DIA, boarding last minute and using TSA precheck then flying from DIA to Eagle then driving to Vail/BC?

Frontier is going to fly into EGE year round.

Just EGE-DEN? F9 is very survivable on a short flight! That could be quite useful if you have no checked bags. But if you do...

If only you could interline F9 to UA, but I sincerely doubt F9 would do it. I know UA won't interline to non-*A. So you'd literally have to claim and check at DEN.

Trading "problems driving to Vail" for "problems getting to the airport, problems with ski luggage, problems with arriving aircraft delays, aircraft mechanical, crew, weather in Denver, weather in Eagle, then getting a rideshare or cab, or a 1 hr bus ride assuming the road is open on that side of things...

EGE $6/day is the same as the 56th and Pena PnR and some of the private sattelite lots for DEN.

Flown out ofEGE a few tomes. Always nice. No security lines, nice and uncrowded. Tix arent always that much more than denver. Main worry is getting rerouted because of weather. Hasn’t happened but definitely could.

Definitely have seen the DEN-EGE planes get delayed more readily as they are smaller

EGE is a nice airport. Same distance as the crow flys, to Aspen or Vail.
More flights and airlines is good, it's just too bad Frontier sucks.

Hopefully voters approve ASE's expansion/upgrade.
