I most certainly have not, nor my edge. Some things just never were funny.
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

Snowmass opened on time. Not as cold or windy as some places and the sun came out.
But the wind did a number on the snow. Some good turns, but lots of variable with downed trees and debris.

Oh shit son! At least it came off where it did, I can think of a few spots on lifts where that could be fatal.

The guy taking the vid seemed to have pretty good attitude at that point.
It appears bamboo didn’t get stuck.

Some descent deals lodging wise both places, any opinions on which one is skiing better currently?
I’d PM bunny, but he’s gone.

The person whose chair fell off the cable at Breck wasn't even injured. Had to have been a kid.

Breck has way more snow...but then you'd be in Breck for the holidays. First world problems or just a bad idea? You tell me.

Not much open here in CB. Probably a whole lot less crowded though.

Was down at Wolf Creek skiing with my kids and their cousins for a few days. I expected my chickens to be frozen dead when I got home last night. They were fine. Tough little suckers. Made them some hot oatmeal.

My three year old had his first days skiing. Based on his physical development and personality I wasn't sure it would go very well, but he was insistent. He loved it. Looks like I'll be doing plenty of Molly Hogan laps this year.

Monarch skied really well yesterday, so long as one managed their aspects. Conditions were either ankle-to-boottop whipped cream cheese or bulletproof wind-flattened corduroy that skied like it was run over by a tank. No in between. Cold temps and winds made the single lift that ran in the morning ski-on nearly every lap, and then a bunch of untracked goods could be found when the spun Pano lift in the afternoon. Sneaky surprise fun day on the local hill.
The older I get, the faster I was.

    Punch it, Chewie.

    Damn he seems cool.

    Oh no!
Good news is you'll be as strong as ever going into next season.

As you know I did just short of 2 years ago... reach out on the tweetmachine if you want to chat what I went through, who I saw, etc.

    That is a bummer.

Especially considering AL has had their worst season in recent memory and CO has had its best early season conditions, in recent memory.

Aspen yesterday, was much better than Snowmass on Thursday.
The wind torched the frontside, but the Leward runs like the Dumps, were great.

Someone was telling me that Breck has a few trailers of natural gas stashed out on Coyne valley rd because they are expecting to have to supplement supply this winter due to colder temps expected.
