    Shit comment FF, do better.

Friday chilled me for the whole weekend. I’ll pass for Thursday . The 5” of grabby chalk should ride great !

I would put money on Loveland not opening at all on Thursday (except maybe the Valley).

My kids' school in Aurora already sent an email stating that they will cancel school if the forecast holds.

I don't see what the big deal is here. I seem to remember whole weeks where it didn't get above freezing back in the 90's. Still went skiing. Gotta keep a flask of Rumplemintz in the jacket.

But yeah, I'll probably work and not ski Thursday.

above zero (F) and above freezing are two entirely different things.
It typically does not get above freezing in the winter above 11K feet in Colorado. Below zero temps are rare (in the places that people typically ski).

There may have been days last week that were colder than what Thursday will be here. We got stuck on a chair for 30 minutes on our first run, and yeah, it was cold. To Vail's credit, we were greeted at the top with free 1 day tickets

It's Vail, they could have just as easily handed out vouchers for hot chocolate. I figure it just means any of our Ikonic friends will just need to take us out for a nice dinner.

At least you got a free ticket voucher. Got stuck on a chair at copper last year and they only gave out 50% off vouchers, just gave it back to em.

Peak 8 and Bottle have been gusting over 90mph. You can watch the cold front move south on the weather apps.

    DAMN..... from NWS Boulder:

"Preliminary data at DIA shows the observed 37F temperature drop in 1 hour (42 to 5F) would be the biggest one hour drop in that ASOS history. "

Someone will blame it on "Climate Crisis."

My entire deck is a big snow ghost plastered with snow from this wind and cold. Guessing it's gonna be rough for openings out there but we'll give it a shot.

All lifts on wind hold at the basin. Can sneak out in the mornings before work but glad I didn’t really even consider it today. Frisco post office had zero line this morning so that was nice!

I guess it means he's a climate change denier.

...obviously single weather events can't be assigned to large scale inputs, only to the flapping of butterfly wings.

Don't get your panties in a wad. It was just a typical smartass TGR comment.

Mikey b, you know me better than that. I'm surprised at you. I guess, you've lost your sense of humor.
