Alternating snow and rain here in town. Windy as fuck last night. Got home from Florida yesterday just in time to blow out the sprinklers. Lets go!

It’s moving pretty quick. Probably 15 minutes at this point. Nothing like the Vail days

I’m still in fall mode. The colors in Denver are insane right now. Great days for runs and bikes.

Yeah I'd still rather be paid to ski on the weekend.

I can't really recollect, but doesn't Loveland usually open on a midweek day?

While I have no fomo, that Abasin lift line isn’t that bad and there have been worse.

Not really anymore. At least for the public. They may open midweek but they won't rush to get there.

It’s laughable how far your guesses are from truth.

None of the above. I have a desk job.
People in that picture still ski for a living - not in the seasonal summer side job type of way. More like laundry lists of sponsors, skis released with their name on them every season, competed in this past years Olympics type of way. That or they’ve found professional success elsewhere, Nick Martini’s stuff and the brands he works with speaks for itself…

One of them could, possibly, make more than the three of you old farts combined, due to his talents off-skis.

let's say they are a bunch of nobodies - you TGR dads REALLY think you don't dress like complete dorks too? Ha.

Where in the order of operations does the green Sundance run get opened at Abasin? I see they are now making snow on Ramrod. I may do an afternoon weekday with my girls 4 and 7 once it is open since both are done early.

they go for the upper mountain first then go back to sundance might be different this year with the new len lift but i doubt it!

That would make sense. Higher up will have more hours of good snowmaking, more snowfall, less melt and getting another lift going helps with lines.

I think they’re still optimistic about Len getting done by mid November but sounds like we will see more snowmaking on lower mountain earlier than we normally would.

Made some laps yesterday to scratch the itch and give some new boots a test run. Skiing was still fun but might wait a little bit before going again. And/ or sharpen my edges.
