Weekend looks to be really warm, you should get some great corn conditions RT.

5" at the Basin. Should make for continued good skiing at the Mini this weekend, and it looks like temps in the high 50s to low 60s. WoooHoooo!!!!!

We got a solid foot up here. Went skiing after work. The snow was wet and heavy, but it was coming up near my knees on the way down - took some pics, but they came out pretty blurry.

Now, although I love every excuse to keep my skis out... COME ON! That warm weather was really starting to grow on me. This is def not what I wanted to wake up to this morning.

Tornado Hits Weld County, Severe Damage In Windsor

GREELEY, Colo. (AP/CBS4) ― A tornado caused heavy and widespread damage in the northern Colorado towns of Windsor and Greeley on Thursday, but no serious injuries were immediately reported.

"My house is gone," said Pete Ambrose, a caretaker at a Weld County park outside Greeley. "I lost my dog. I lost my cats. I lost my camper. I lost everything."

It's snowing outside my house right now. Not really sticking in town, but I'm sure it'll be up higher.

If things continue to hold up as of now, we're looking to at 23 days of 90+ heat here in Denver as of this upcoming Monday.

Gives me more of a reason to not visit for 8 months a year (aka ski season).

101 yesterday, looking at 103 today... but how people deal with these temps in humidity is a mystery to me. it should not be legal to live in weather of that nature.

Crank the ac and don't go outside. I had to live in a city with 90% humidity and an average summer temp of 94 for 15 years. It was worth it though, my parents employer was paying for our permanent residency. I think it ended up being 40-60k or some stupid amount. having been here 17 years, I am only a few years away from being able to apply for citizenship, having got my permanent residency 3 years ago and living in the country since I was two. Gotta love the system! At least when it's all over I will be able to live anywhere in Europe or the U.S.

EDIT: in a very well insulated 1300 square foot house built in the 60's the bill for the ac alone was almost 300 a month. You then need to think about the shower you need to take if you step outside for so much as 20 seconds, sometimes needing three a day to stay comfortable.

    Rant over.
