I'm wearing a pair of black carharts and an old dirty t-shirt, you'll see me at the bar, hopefully before the crowds hit.

There were lots of real good skiers at Loveland today. Fun to watch. And conditions at least on 1 were real good.

Sorry I missed the Loveland luv, hoping to get a few more turns at the Jane this afternoon.

You too wilder. Skied LL again today. Much better than yesterday. I guess Friday was the day tho. Strong E winds yesterday fucked the snow. N winds today did a lot of refilling. Rock chutes was awesome. Should be good tomorrow - stuff was filling in again.

Honestly it might have been a lot windier than 40mph on the ridge.

All 5 of us got frost nipped getting over to Jelly even with our face protection.

We went back to 1 which was nice.

When the wind blows out of the east, the west faces will be deep. Wind out of the west, you get the point. So funny listening to all the Denver butthurtz on Saturday about how Chair 9 sucked. No shit. The East Wall, the west side of Tickler, and Dave's Ditch is the only terrain that benefits from "upslopes", unless you own a pair of skins.

Glad you got the goods in the Rock Chutes! Actually Thursday was the day. Heaviest snowfall rates in months. Nearly 4 inches in an hour around noon, only half a parking lot full of people, and most of the terrain off 9 was actually open. Bummed I missed you up there the past couple days Lindahl. Last time I saw you was November at Jones. If you're around closing day I'd love to get a few laps with ya.

Mission accomplished. Skied to the bell of closing day. Fast soft snow in the trees all afternoon.

    And I was there too!

I do hope one of y'all witnessed my high speed failed mogul gap to double eject underneath 1. Still sore from that one.

    Good to meet you, N1CK.

Weather and snow related: Berthoud was good yesterday, but windy.

Sorry I missed you all on Saturday! I was either too stoked or too stupid to pick anyone out in the morning, and met up with my own posse in the afternoon. Glad you all enjoyed 1 as much as I did!

Good to meet you too! You and your buddies were pinned. Super fun to watch, marginally scary to chase. Powtron also got teh gold star ... airing into Excelleration trees off the cat track. I'm sure that made perfect sense to him.

I'll be in Fruita actually. Lets get out soon though! It never happened midwinter, but this season was a wierd one for sure.

It sounds like you do get this stuff. You woke up early on Saturday and were skiing/snowboarding in the right place to get the goods. My drunken rant was directed at the folks I encountered at Loveland that were complaining to me about bad snow. It doesn't sound like that was you, but I guess I struck a nerve. My bad. It was an awesome day and we'll all be lucky to get a few more like it this season.

Yes, any snow on the face counts as a faceshot IMHO.
